Shipping for most orders is done via USPS Priority mail, unless otherwise noted. Some items may require freight delivery, or UPS shipping. In these cases, PO boxes will not be accepted. You will need to provide a physical shipping address.
Orders are shipped as quickly as humanly possible. Brass orders may require additional time for processing, depending on the size of order, and quantity of brass in stock. We endeavor to keep accurate inventory of what is available for immediate shipping. However, in some rare cases, inventory on the website may not accurately reflect inventory available. If this happens, you will be notified with the option to wait, or to cancel /change the order.
Due to U.S. restrictions on firearms export, we do not ship internationally. At this time, this policy also includes AFP/FPO orders. While we value our military customers, we are regrettably unable to ship to these addresses until/unless such time as the U.S. Government revises their regulations to allow us to ship to service members at these addresses.
When your item is shipped, you will receive notification from USPS.com with tracking information. If you do not receive a shipping notification or a message from us indicating a delay, within 2 business days, you may request a shipping update by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Firearms (including serialized parts such as frames and receivers) can only be shipped to a valid FFL. You will need to provide us with your FFL’s address for shipping, and will need to include or have them provide a copy of the FFL for our records. Orders containing firearms, frames, receivers, or other serialized parts considered by the ATF to be a “Firearm” will be placed on hold until we receive a copy of your FFL.
Utah residents may arrange to pick up their items locally in Saratoga Springs. Sales tax will be applied to all Utah orders, whether shipped or picked up in person. If you wish to pick up a firearm in person, please contact us at Sales@westdeserttactical.com to arrange a pickup time. Firearms transfers/pickups are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do not have regular business hours for firearms pickups.
Shipping costs are nonrefundable once an order ships.
Cancellations must take place prior to shipping of the order. If the order has already shipped, you may return the item for a refund. There is a 15% restocking fee on canceled orders. You are responsible for return shipping, and the shipping portion of your order is nonrefundable.
If the order is canceled due to an item on our website being unavailable, there is no cancellation fee.
We try to sell only items which are physically in stock. If you order an item that is not in stock, we may, at our discretion, give you the option to backorder the item. Not all items will be allowed to back order, and will depend on the anticipated wait time. You may cancel a backorder at any time without penalty or restocking fee.
We may occasionally run pre-order specials as well. Pre-orders may not be canceled unless the advertised anticipated delivery date is delayed. If that happens, you will be given the option of continuing to wait, or receiving a refund. There is no penalty or restocking fee for pre-orders which do not meet the targeted delivery date.
West Desert Tactical will repair or replace any West Desert Tactical branded item, provided the item has not been installed, modified, or damaged by improper use/abuse. This is part of the lifetime warranty that all of our products carry. If the item is one that is no longer carried, we reserve the right to replace it with a comparable item of equal or greater value, at our discretion.
Products by 3rd-party manufacturers will carry the manufacturers warranty.
If you would like to return an item for any reason other than warranty issues, the item must be in new, unused and unmodified condition. We will offer your choice of a refund the purchase price, minus the 15% restocking fee, or a 100% store credit, or exchange.
At West Desert Tactical we value privacy very highly. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell our customers information under any circumstances. We will never disclose your information to a third party without your prior approval, except as required by law. Your contact information may be disclosed to a 3rd party for the purposes of debt collection on any delinquent accounts. Such debt collection efforts would only be made after a reasonable attempt to contact you and resolve the matter directly. We may use your contact information to contact you regarding order status, or to notify you of deals and products you may be interested in. If you prefer not to be contacted with deals, you may unsubscribe to the mailing list by following the instructions in the email, or sending an email to email@example.com
