Q:  What do I need to get my own AR15 project started?

A:  Along with your AR15 components, you will need some tools if you will be doing all of the assembly work yourself.

Here's a list of them:

  • Workbench with a vice
  • AR15 Armorer's Wrench
  • AR15 Upper Receiver Action Block
  • Punch Set
  • Small Brass Hammer
  • Thick Tape
  • Flat Head Screwdriver
  • Allen Wrench Set
  • Spanner Wrench (if using a standard slip or Delta ring assembly)

Here are some additional highly-recommended tools:

  • Pivot Pin installation tool
  • AR15 Bolt Catch Punch
  • Needle Nose Pliers
  • Roll Pin Punches

Q:  What can I expect when I get my AR15BUILDBOX?

A:  The AR15 BUILDBOX is a quality mailer box, with 3 rigid foam inserts.  The thick middle insert has pre-cut slots for your:

  • AR15 Upper Receiver (flat top or carrying handle models)
  • Up to a 13" Quad Rail Handguard
  • Bolt Carrier Group
  • Lower Parts Kit & other small parts
  • Lower Receiver
  • Pistol Grip & Buttstock Assemblies
  • Low-Profile Gas Block
  • Delta Ring, Weld Spring, Snap Ring, and Barrel Nut
  • Up to a 20" Barrel Assembly, with or without the Front Sight Base & Barrel Nut attached
  • Buffer Assembly

Two other rigid foam sheets enclose the core, providing an organizational & storage system to help you plan, protect, and then complete your own personalized AR15 build.
